... On my opinion, extremely important is the work of Beniamin Egishevich, bringing to publication the first lists of so-called Markarian’s objects. As a result of this work almost all the nearest galaxies with active nuclei on the Northern sky were discovered. Properties of these objects, close connection with physical processes taking place in QSOs, huge energy liberation, non-stability, relative short distance from us with enough great number of them makes just now and will make in the future investigate them in details in all over the world. The importance and fruitfulness of the work confirmed also the analogous observations carried out in the Southern sky, as well as so-called the Second Byurakan Survey leading to searching for analogous objects among weaker galaxies.

For this reason the given work of Beniamin Egishevich Markarian let to consider as a serious contribution in the human culture. The objects, named by his name, always will be investigated by humanity.

I am proud of being acquainted with Beniamin Egishevich, one of the first began to study his objects and happy to consider myself as his pupil and colleague.
